Ski & Snowboard the Canadian Winter!
Are you looking for an authentic Canadian experience this winter? We have some epic adventures planned to three of BC’s top interior mountain resorts: Sun Peaks, Revelstoke, and SilverStar. This is a great way to experience not only the interior of BC but also ski or snowboard some of the best slopes in Canada.
BC’s interior is famous for champagne powder. It is a very light fluffy powder that can only be found in a few places in the world. This makes skiing and snowboarding in fresh snow feel like actual heaven.
On these 3-day trips, we have two full days on the mountain and these trips are a fantastic way to experience the Canadian winter while practicing your English with travellers and locals alike!
If you’ve never tried skiing or snowboarding, or you’re still a beginner, the SilverStar and Sun Peaks trips are great options for an affordable way to learn. Experienced skiers and snowboarders will enjoy any of these trip options, but Revelstoke is a particular treat, with the most vertical drops in North America.
Champagne powder and varied terrain attract every kind of skier and snowboarder to SilverStar. Enjoy the colourful mid-mountain village and great atmosphere. This tour also includes the My1Pass. This pass features unlimited access to SilverStar’s 55 km of Nordic trails, 16 km of mapped and marked snowshoe trails, Tube Town Adventure Park and outdoor skating on Brewer’s Pond along with unlimited access to all Fat Bike trails. There is endless Canadian-style winter fun to be had at SilverStar!
For more experienced skiers and snowboarders, this trip is for you! Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) has the most vertical in North America with over 1,700 metres of elevation, filled with pure heaven to enjoy. RMR is also the newest resort in BC offering state of the art facilities and 9-12 metres of snow every winter. For the past 120 years, skiing has been the heart of and soul of this town. Another plus… There is heli-skiing for the more adventurous. Of course, this would have to be on your own account.
Sun Peaks is famous for light, dry “champagne powder” and the cozy European-style village that is nestled at the base of three mountains. Enjoy award-winning downhill skiing and snowboarding and relax in upscale accommodation located at the base of the mountain with hot tubs and a huge outdoor heated pool. Fun fact, Sun Peaks was founded many years before Whistler was even a thought in the minds of the developers. It is a fully-fledged town with its own mayor, schools and of course its fantastic snow experiences.
The winter season is almost upon us, and we only have one or two dates a year for each of these special trips, so book soon to avoid disappointment!
